The Los Angeles Urban League is holding the Biz Institute, a four-week summer business camp for kids ages 12 – 18. It runs from 9 am – 3 pm, 6/25 – 7/20 daily for drumroll please - $300. Enrollment includes guest speakers, field trips, text books and a briefcase. Students will learn how to turn their hobbies and ideas into a profitable business. Based on the Kate Kate The Fashion Plate book, girls between the ages of 7 – 14 will be able to create their own product line, run their own company and have their product on display at Santa Monica Place.
