If you have kids, no matter the age, you should be planning for college now. The cost is only going up and so is the competition to get accepted. There are two great (FREE) workshops coming up in the Los Angeles area that will aid in your college planning efforts.
The first is this Saturday, June 9th from 9 am to noon at the Los Angeles Urban League (5414 Crenshaw Blvd, Los Angeles). Sponsored by C.U.S.P., you’ll learn about financial aid, college application tips, educational opportunities in California, scholarships and more. RSVP to email@example.com.
The second workshop is the West Hollywood College Prep Fair, which is being initiated by local teens (go teens – that’s college material right there!). There will be information booths, panels and workshops for financial aid resources, testing prep, life after college, workshops for parents and more. This is geared toward teens and adult learners. It’s on June 30th from 10 am – 3 pm at the West Hollywood Community Center at Plummer Park – free parking! 7377 Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood.
