Update: A lot of you with multiple children seem to be having a difficult time uploading additional children, I’m not affiliated with the contest at all, but I would suggest you try registering with a different email address to do additional uploads. If that works, please leave a note in the comments. The contest does allow for up to 5 children to be entered though. Check out the FAQs, they will answer many of your questions. It’s at the bottom of the first page where you enter your email address to register.
We keep getting asked to vote for our grandaughter in your contest but it certainly is not user friendly especially for the older crowd….what r we missing? Please let us know how to vote so that we do not get in trouble!

One of the contestant’s mother’s has posted on her facebook for people to send her their email addresses as well as passwords so she can vote for them. Sounds like a breach to me.
I highly doubt that. No one would be so stupid as to give out their password. Plus a password is not require. I do believe there is so parent out there trying to and succeeding at getting children’s photos removed to improve their chances.
My daughters photo was approved on August 12, 2011 and we were issued an ID number. Friends and family have been voting for her since then. I even voted for her early today and went to look at her picture again this evening to find a message that there was no entry that matched that number. Then I searcher through all of the pages and finally gave up wondering how it disappeared. I checked my email tonight to find a message from Childrens place saying that her photo has now been not accepted. I suspect that some jealous mother clicked on the link that says report this photo. It meet all of the requirements and it was already reviewed and approved. I will never shop at the Childrens Place again.
I know exaclyt how you feel the same thing happened with my daughters photo. Childrens Place is one sorry company to do something like that.

While the Official Rules have complete details, here are some quick guidelines to ensure your photo is accepted:
• Photo must be a full-length shot.
• Photo must show only 1 child.
• Photo cannot contain any brand names or trademarks other than The Children’s Place.
• Photo must be your property. Do not submit a photo taken by someone other than you if you have not obtained the ownership rights in the photo.
• You may submit photos of more than 1 of your children, but you cannot submit more than 5 photos total.

But here is the answer to your question: full length picture, your property (the photo), wearing Childrens Place clothing, no profanity or harmful pictures, cannot promote other products in the picture.
Yeah thats a shame that other parents would do that. Thank goodness that didn’t happen to my daughters..but i did notice in her age group there were a gazillion pics posted. And the majority of the kids didn’t have any childrens place clothes on. My daughter had a shirt on though from there and shoes. I don’t like viewer votes contests

Why is it when people try to vote you have to put in your name, address, phone number, ect…. I have people trying to vote for my daughter and are unable to just find a link to vote.
How can I delete a photo after submitting one?
If you wait long enough, Childrens Place will delete it because they feel like it. And if your child is super cute, some angry and jealous person will most likely report it as inappropriate and then Childrens Place will pull it down even if it is not inappropriate.

I would keep the picture simple and keep your daughter as the focus. Leave out any props, ie dolls.

I entered both of my boys in the Childrens Place Model Search contest on Monday. One of my son’s entry was accepted into the 5-12 category and the other one is still not showing up in the 1-4 category. I tried to re-enter it and then got a notification it was denied. I’m assuming because I already had sent his entry once. The picture follows all of the guidelines in the offical rules. Please tell me how I can get the other one entered.
Also, I noticed a lot of the pictures entered (and some with the most votes so far) are not full length shots like it says in the rules. Will those photos count?

Why isn’t my photo in the gallery?
A2. All photos submitted must be approved by the contest administrator before appearing on the site. Please allow 3 business days for your photo to be approved and to become available for viewing in the gallery. Due to a high volume of entries, it may take a little longer. You will receive an email confirmation with your child’s contest ID number. If your photo is not displayed in the gallery 3 business days after your submission, your photo may have been rejected. You will receive an email notifying you that there is an issue with your submission and instructions for re-submitting your entry. Please find the photo content restrictions in the Official Rules.
Ok admin. Hi Lisa. My daughters photo was approved August 12th and given a number. Friends and family have been voting ever since. But today when I went to vote I got a message saying there was no such entry. Then I received an email saying that the picture has been denied. I am very upset about this and will not shop at Childrens Place EVER again.
Hello, I am unable to view my photos. I received the email after I registered, but it did not include an entry ID. It keeps telling me my email does not match any entries. I do remember seeing something telling me it may take a few days, but why didn’t I get an entry ID?

I’m trying to enter my children into the model search and after trying to upload the pic I go to a screen that gives me the guidelines and says if I’m ready to click “submit entry” and to change photo click “go back”….. I did not see anything in the rules that say the photo cannot be professional. My understanding is, as long as you have the rights to the photograph it is fine. (as long as it follows the other rules)

I’ve already tried to send 3 different photos of my daughter. But every time I was informed that my picture did not meet the requirements. I’ve sent one of her wearing an outfit from the childrens place and she’s sitting down on the floor with nothing else. The other only had her teething ring next to her. Last night when I went to bed, my one son was in 7th place in the 5-12 category. My other son was in 23rd place in the 1-4 category. Today they are no where to be found and a LOT of the pictures are missing. I realize last night was the last night of voting, but why did they take some of the entries off of the gallery??
I dont know. I am wandering the same thing. My child was 5th place in 5-12 girl category and her pic isnt in there either. They really should leave all pics up.
My child’s photo is also gone this morning. Wondering why. It was just there yesterday. There was 4 thousand plus pages, not there’s only about 40 something in the 5-12 girl category.
