2012 Children’s Film Festival @ LACMA – Free

Here’s a great event coming up this weekend! It’s free (best of all) and offers a full day of programming for your budding cinephile.

The eighth annual Los Angeles International Children’s Film Festival returns to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) to present more than one hundred films from around the world, including full-length, short-animation, live-action, and documentary films, organized by age group—toddlers through teens. Filmmakers and actors will be present for discussions, and an animation workshop will allow children to practice drawing and animation. Admission to film screenings is free for everyone and will be screened in the Bing Theater and Brown Auditorium. A complete schedule of events and film descriptions can be seen here.

There are also two workshops being held on Saturday and Sunday:
